Glamping – Planning your stay
“you’ve thought of everything” is a phrase we hear quite often from our glamping guests.
Here are a few things that we think you may find helpful while glamping with us.
Fire Pit Fires: A bundle of wood is included complimentary with your stay.
We do recommend that you bring your preferred fire starter with you. (most guests prefer charcoal lighter fluid) https://amzn.to/3C091oA
Ice: There are several stores a couple miles away in Alderson if you need ice.
Water: The water here is tested by the health department and is good for drinking.
Coffee – Keurig Pods Are included: Look inside the keurig pull-out tray (if the keurig in your glamping dome has one, otherwise look for a container on the counter).

Here’s a summary that answers most questions. My wife and I have used our own memorable (and not so enjoyable) travel experiences to inform our decisions and we have incorporated as many unique things as we can that fit with our glamping dome vibe to offer you an authentic, enjoyable (dare I say exotic) experience.

Glamping Dome kitchens have: Minifridge/Freezer, Induction Cooktop (and pots/ pans to suit), Toaster, Keurig (with complimentary coffee pods/creamer/sweetener), Sink, Utensils, and various bowls/plates/mixing bowls, etc for eating/cooking/serving. Each glamping dome also has a Microwave and a propane grill. The kitchen is also stocked with cleaning supplies, paper towels and a vacuum. The dome also has a Solo smokeless fire pit. (Complimentary bundle of firewood and more available for purchase if needed.) There is also a private bathroom with toilet and shower at each glamping dome. (with soap/shampoo/conditioner provided as well) All primary beds include linens and towels etc are also provided (with the exception of Meadowlark, Foxyridge, and DaVinci, where you can opt to bring your own Towels/Linens to save $). We also have kayaks/paddleboards for use on-site at no additional cost (first come-first served, at your own risk).

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in the Foxyridge dome for our one year wedding anniversary. The views were incredible and it feels very private. We had a great time and would definitely return if we were ever in the area again.

From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were the only people in the world—completely surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of God's creation. The setting is wild, peaceful, and rustic, yet the dome itself is unbelievably comfortable with every convenience you could possibly need. It poured rain during our stay, but honestly, it made the experience even more magical. We were able to soak in every bit of the natural beauty while staying warm, dry, and cozy inside. The beds are some of the most comfortable we've ever slept in, and every artistic detail—from the gorgeous bathroom to the twinkling starlit floor—made the space feel so thoughtfully designed. The hot tub overlooking the mountains was the perfect finishing touch. Watching the sunset from there was unforgettable and truly felt like a dream come true. My wife and I stayed at the Meadowlark Dome for 3 nights. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, secluded, and almost dreamlike. Surrounded by open meadows with mountains rising in the distance, we felt as though time slowed down here. Every morning, we woke to the sound of birds chirping around us, and the gentle sight of fog rolling across the meadow. We even saw deer grazing in the distance and plenty of rabbits around our dome! The dome itself was thoughtfully designed and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We usually cook most of our meals, so we greatly appreciated the fully-equipped mini kitchen that came with an electric stove and quality cookware. One of the highlights of the Meadowlark dome was the wood-fired hot tub. Soaking in the hot tub after a day out exploring the New River felt heavenly. Timothy was incredibly kind and welcoming in helping us get the hot tub going during our stay. Our stay at Meadowlark left us feeling rested, refreshed, and already dreaming about returning. It's a truly special place that offers a rare sense of tranquility and connection with nature.
Amazing getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in the Davinci Dome and it was just as advertised on the site. The hot tub was perfect, you can tell a lot of time and dedication went into making it.
