Memorial Day weekend, my husband and I went on his last 50th birthday adventure–a stay at the WV Glamping Domes. I cannot say enough good things about our visit.
From the bed which gave you a view of the night sky and dawns light in the morning, to having your hosts share slices of fresh strawberry cheesecake from the local strawberry festival waiting in the fridge for your arrival, to being able to soak in a claw foot tub while you watched the fireflies dance, to waking up to a hot farm fresh breakfast delivered to us with chilled apple cider, warm maple syrup, and eggs to bring home.
It was all fantastic.
As I’ve gotten older, I appreciate so much more experiencing things that make me slow down, reflect on where I’ve been, where I see myself in the future, and enjoying what truly is a labor of love.

Completely happy with our recent stay, and looking forward to our next! TLDR: Three specific unique features: 1) Privacy is absolute - not another person in sight or hearing; 2) The hot tub - hand-crafted from a tree! A comprehensive AI search indicates that this is almost certainly the only single-log hot tub available. . .unless you make your own; 3) The detailing of the DaVinci dome's interior - you could spend hours examining how it was put together and outfitted. The combination of peace, privacy, and amenities allows you to TOTALLY relax. The better part of a meadow acre to share with rabbits, squirrels, hummingbirds, and (possibly) a mink. . .or maybe it was an otter. Cows and turkeys visit on the other side of the fence. Rental communications are frequent and detailed, the nearby area (Lewisburg, and farther afield, New River Gorge National Park) offers plenty to see and do, and gorgeous views are everywhere!
We had the best weekend! My husband and I celebrated 19 years of marriage in the Foxyridge Dome. Everything was perfect, the views were beautiful.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in the Foxyridge dome for our one year wedding anniversary. The views were incredible and it feels very private. We had a great time and would definitely return if we were ever in the area again.

From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were the only people in the world—completely surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of God's creation. The setting is wild, peaceful, and rustic, yet the dome itself is unbelievably comfortable with every convenience you could possibly need. It poured rain during our stay, but honestly, it made the experience even more magical. We were able to soak in every bit of the natural beauty while staying warm, dry, and cozy inside. The beds are some of the most comfortable we've ever slept in, and every artistic detail—from the gorgeous bathroom to the twinkling starlit floor—made the space feel so thoughtfully designed. The hot tub overlooking the mountains was the perfect finishing touch. Watching the sunset from there was unforgettable and truly felt like a dream come true. Thank you for creating such a special place. It's obvious how much love and care your family has poured into this property. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already talking about when we can come back!
