This was such a unique fun adventure. From check in to check out everything is so well thought out, and the attention to detail every single step of the way made everything flow so easily. It was a little chilly (in the 20s at night) and we were well equipped to stay cozy between the heaters, heated bed, and optional heated blankets we did not feel the cold. We noted there is also air conditioning available which I could see being convenient in warmer times. The privacy and views are spectacular. We received a text message prior to arrival with very detailed arrival instructions and FAQ, easily accessed our find cart and dome, and were able to enjoy our stay. The day of check out we received a text message with instructions and helpful hints, the dome was well equipped with everything we needed and more! There were farm fresh eggs in our fridge when we arrived which were delicious and easy to enjoy with the kitchen set up available in the dome. I would absolutely recommend this and we will certainly be returning!
We had the best time! The weather was a little chilly but the accommodations are well equipped for any temperature, it went down in the 20s and between the available heat, the heated bed, and the heated blankets provided(which we didn’t even need), we stayed very comfortable. The hot tub, chairs and fire-pit at FoxyRidge offer a gorgeous secluded views of the landscape and makes for easy stargazing. The attention to detail throughout the entire resort, and logistics made the whole experience so convenient. From the day of arrival receiving a text message with all the necessary details for a smooth check in, to a check out reminder it was such an easy process. Alderson and lewisburg offer unique shopping and dining experiences if you want to venture off the property, but with the peaceful property and great accommodations you could easily not need to leave for a thing. I would absolutely recommend this unique experience to everyone!
My wife and I spent the weekend in the Foxyridge dome and had a wonderful time. Perfect amenities for a quite relaxing time and just enjoying the view.
this was an amazing experience!!! very cute cottage intricate and well put together bathroom and showers right by a river, the farm animals were an endearing touch and were comfortably far enough away. Texted a few questions and the responses were prompt and kind. I would absolutely recommend this experience!
1st time glamping and it was everything we were hoping for and then some. My best friend and I stayed in The Manor and it spectacular. The beds and pillows were very comfy. The waterfall shower was great and I even showered with a friend. George the frog. 😊 After fun filled days, kayaking and strolling along the trails, being able to relax in a comfy bed and stargaze was the perfect ending to our days. The hot tub was everything! We started our mornings there, with coffee in hand, and ended our evenings there with adult beverages. Views of the river from one side, and the other side was views of 2 old outbuildings with a windmill in the background and a field of daffodils in between. It was a painting waiting to happen. Waking up to the sounds of nature just doesn't get any better. Loved the fireplace too. We never left the premises for the 2 days we were there. It had everything we needed to renew, and recharge. Thank you and your family for creating such a unique place. WV is almost heaven, and so is this place.
