⭐️ NEW DOME OPEN BOOK HERE ⭐️
I can write a book as to why I love WV Glamping and I will definitely recommend to everyone!! ????My husband and I spent New Year’s weekend in their newest dome Firelight and I can say it is on ‘Fire”. ????❤
If you love soaking in an tub of endless hot water, even better right beside your love, along with some ambiance then you have the Fire to the light. ❤ The living area is also great, bed has heated pad, full kitchenette, and great views from the dome.
The best part is the West Virginia hospitality from the owners. Timothy went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. I so appreciate owners who do their best to give the best experience and we had the best! ❤???? We will definitely be back glamping ASAP! Thanks Timothy & Angela for a wonderful weekend ❤❤❤
5 stars all around as a glamping experience for our 3rd wedding anniversary!! This was our first time glamping so we treated ourselves to a 2 night stay in the newer DaVinici Dome and absolutely LOVED IT! We were here during a heatwave and remained adequately cool. Location: The glamping domes are situated on a large property along a creek in the Alderson area. It is a 20-30 minute drive to the Lewisburg area where you can find many restaurants, local shops, Walmart, Kroger, and other activities. They all seemed to be spaced out nicely, with some privacy features between them, but if you want ultimate privacy I suggest booking the DaVinci. This dome is a short golf cart ride from the parking area. As of our visit (6/24/25 - 6/26/25) the trail is incredibly bumpy and again, you're in a golf cart, not a side by side or something with shocks, so take that in consideration when booking. I also recommend bringing some bungee cords/straps to secure your luggage on the golf cart so it doesn't end up on the trail. If the sky is clear you will have an awesome view of the stars! Dome: The DaVinici dome is peaceful, gorgeous, and a clear labor of love and ingenuity. The dome itself is cozy and is able to remain cool with the help of the air conditioning unit once the sun goes down. The bed was comfy and each side had a small bedside stand built in to the wall. While here we utilized the wifi, desk, mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker without any incident. There was also a toaster and hot plate that we did not use. The primary reason we booked this dome over others was the unique hand hewn log hot tub and it exceeded expectations! It was so hot outside that we did not have to heat it by fire the first night but the 2nd night cooled off enough for us to test out the wood fire heat. Overall, the hot tub was gorgeous, clean, and a great way to relax. It is important to consider that you must be able to climb up a couple of natural steps and over the side of the log to enter the log. The solo stove provides a wonderful nighttime activity. Making s'mores after a long soak in the hot tub was the perfect nightcap. If you want to have a fire more than one night bring cash with you to buy firewood. Another exciting occurrence -there were cows grazing in the meadow beside the dome each morning. Dome Bathroom Facilities: The shower and bathroom tent are a few steps from the dome. The walkway between is not covered so I would suggest bringing an umbrella/poncho/rain jacket in case it is raining. We hadn't considered that but thankfully it wasn't an issue. The shower water heated well. The water pressure when you have the water turned further to the hot side is low, but if you make the water a little cooler the pressure increases. The hosts have included shampoo, conditioner, and body soap for your use which helps you pack less. The bathroom tent is impressively engineered. There are several measures they've taken to attract bugs elsewhere in the tent so they don't bother you while on the toilet. The biggest plus in the bathroom is the box fan that turns on via motion sensor. The sink is on a gorgeous live edge counter that I was shocked to find in a bathroom tent. Service: The owners were incredibly responsive to our questions both prior to and during our stay. They also send important information multiple times through both email and text message. I was especially thankful for the check-out checklist that we received via text message. PSA: If you expect an experience without exposure to insects, wildlife, or unpredictable weather elements - this is NOT the location for you.
The place was clean and well-equipped. Plenty of things to do at the property if you are an outdoorsy person. I visited after the Renaissance fair which is a 13-minute easy and quick drive. 30mins from Lewisburg.
10 stars for awesome location, hospitality and vibe. Everything was perfect. 🌟
WOW - must stay, put on your bucket list now! Peaceful and serene with just enough creature comforts to keep you cozy! Timothy is top notch host. Highly recommend!!
It was an awesome stay here! We came with our friends. We lived in the Foxyridge dome and our friends live in Da Vince dome. Two domes are ~ 8-10 minutes away by golf cart. This is our first glamping experience here. We arrived late and the host still kindly brought us home-made ciders and fresh eggs (we fried them for breakfast in the next morning, very tasty!!!). It was 3-4 mins driving by golf cart from the parking lot to our dome, kinda scary but very exciting! We were amazed by the flashing fireflies all the way driving up to and around the dome! The hot tub was kept warm with lights hanging around. Everything was cute and sweet. We enjoyed massage in the tub, the quietness up the hill, peaceful bug sound around, comfy beds, and amazing views around. Definitely a great get away and worth the driving here!
One of a kind stay, would definitely recommend. The only negative I would say is that it’s a sharp turn getting in, but only for larger vehicles! Staff was amazing, easy to find, super cozy, layout is perfect, complimentary cider, kayaks, eggs etc This place is definitely on our list to come back to!
