"Firelight" is the perfect romantic weekend trip! The dome and tubs were incredibly clean upon arrival, and all basic necessities were provided - towels, washcloths, robes, shampoo/conditioner/body wash/bubble bath. There are 2-person sets of plates, bowls, utensils, champagne flutes, and goblet style wine glasses on-site. The mini fridge is the style that includes a mini freezer. If you're from way out of state like us, it's good to note that you don't need to haul in all your basic food. There are two small grocery stores only a few minutes away you can stop at. We walked one of the trails, and there were cows along one of the fences that were adorable. We also kayaked the creek, which was a great little adventure! A few notes: -There is no external outlet or light to the dome on the side with the fire pit area, so make sure to set up your fire while there is still some light out so you don't trip while holding sticks. -This dome gets HOT in the summer during the day. We stayed in it in July, and even with two A/C units and fans it would be uninhabitable for the elderly, pregnant, or very young from 1pm-5pm while the sun is directly overhead. The thermostat on the wall was reading 98° at 2pm. That being said, this is completely expected when staying in a vinyl bubble! We planned fun excursions during those hours each day. Lost World Caverns, Old World Libations winery, and Hawk Knob cidery are all within driving distance of the domes! Outside of those hours, the temperatures were PERFECT inside. The only thing I would recommend changing out for the theme of this dome are the ceiling overhead light bulbs. The wall lights are a soft flickering orange, but the overheads are bright white. Turning them on at night takes away the romantic softness of the dome. Yellow lighting would set a more relaxed mood. Fun fact - if you're wondering if a free-standing movie projector screen fits between the tubs, it does! We brought ours, which is adjustable to fit different room widths. The WiFi was strong enough for streaming without any issues. We loved our stay. It was the best weekend trip we've had in years. We'll definitely be back!
My husband and I rented Aromatic Cedar for a romantic getaway, and it did not disappoint. We arrived to a cozy romantic setting Friday evening. The room was setup so cute and perfect for the two of us. Our trip originally was a birthday gift turned into a random trip that was then changed to a late honeymoon overnight stay. Since we don’t get much one on one with each other (2 year old at home), this was exactly what we needed. The hot tub was very clean and really helped unwind and destress from the day to day activities. One of my favorite amenities was the heated bed since the weather has cooled down some. Highly recommend anyone looking for a quiet oasis to do this. We love finding the beauty in simplicity and if you are wanting to slow down and just spend time together this is perfect!! We can’t wait to come back for a couple days and try out the trails.

My husband and I stayed at the Firelight Dome and we loved every second of our stay. Our first impression was that our dome was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was perfect for a romantic getaway. Tim and Angela made sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. They are very hospitable and made us feel welcome! We rented e-bikes and they were waiting for us at our dome when we arrived! We had a blast on the bikes! We had the best time and it was so good for us to be able to get away and reconnect. I booked this as a surprise for my wife. She loves camping but I don't. But I love this kind of "camping". The DaVinci dome was as cute and luxurious as could be. It is in a secluded field that you get to in a golf cart. Even though there was a bit of a cold snap when we were there we were warm and toasty thanks to the wood stove and heated bed. And what a host Timothy is. He gave us fresh eggs from his chickens and some cider that he makes. But even more he kept in touch with us and built a fire for us while we were out so the dome was warm when we got there and even built a fire and tended it in the hot tub (that he made himself by hollowing out a huge tree trunk) for us. That is service you don't see anymore. All in all a great 4 days.
We enjoyed our stay. The place had everything you need and the hot tub made of carved maple tree was a work of art. We stayed at the DaVinci dome. The attention to details, lighting, sound system and out door shower is exceptional. We will definitely be back again.

When thinking of what he wanted most, I found that my time, no chores, and a hot tub are the necessary must haves for his pleasure. All I’m saying is here is where you want to be! My fiancé looked at me with such awe and said this is where I should have proposed to you, the starting night sky, the privacy, the views, and the love surrounding this place by nature herself - has done amazing things for US this weekend! We stayed in the luxury meadowlark dome and my favorite part of this location was the life surrounding us, the butterfly trail, the chipmunks that come out and play, the cows grazing, the horses beauty, the chickens providing. You don’t have to be a county man or woman to enjoy this, these truly are all of life’s luxury’s. Slow mornings here- coffee,tea, you name it - they did it! Thank you truly Timothy and Angela for sharing your lifeline of hard work and sacrifice…you have made something truly beautiful out of everything here, we cannot imagine the time and dedication it takes for something like this and we appreciate you for that also.
This is our 2nd trip to the Glamp Domes and we love it so much! If you are looking to unwind in a little piece of Heaven, this is it. We will definitely be back again❤️
