Luxury -Aromatic Cedar™- Creekside Glamping Dome (Sleeps 2-4)

My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary getaway. The Meadowlark had very limited pictures online but I loved that it was secluded and seemed great for couples. We got there and we were honestly shocked at the lack of yard/lawn care- everything was all grown up around Meadowlark and it did not look good at all. The part of the building that connects to Meadowlark was not shown online or Facebook. It was not pretty at all and was not all the way finished. It looked like it had been slapped together. The power was out when we got there which the hosts of course did not have control of that- they tried their best to deal with that but their back up generators did not work as they thought they would. The hot tub is a HOMEMADE hot tub that is way too shallow. No matter how much water you put in, it just pours over the edge. That was the most pitiful looking hot tub we have ever seen. We travel a lot and have very high expectations. The hot tub was right beside the toilet so when you flush, that nastiness is all going right in the hot tub. The views were amazing, the homemade cider was amazing, inside the dome was super cute but this was not at all what we expected with everything I have mentioned. We ended up getting our money back and going somewhere else because it did not meet our expectations. Every other dome seemed to be exactly as advertised and had full size hot tubs that you could fully submerge in. We had considered trying a different dome another time but when we saw the Owner the next morning, he did not ask anything about our night or our stay. We stayed the one night because it was too late to go anywhere else and it had been a hectic hot day with no AC/Power!

We feel blessed for the this Amazing experience at GLAMPINGDOMES! nHighly recommended for those who are Nature Lovers. The domes are very functional, cosy , and unique inside and outside. The rear fire-pit sitting area on pebbled ground, facing that magical creek, with the company of a beautiful blue heron, is a memorable scene in our minds. The sound of the running waters through the rocks and bolds are like a symphony played to awake our deepest sense of spirituality. The freshness of the morning dew bringing that unforgettable fragrance of plants and herbs. This is truly a surreal and special place. That is a piece of Heaven between the mountains of WV. If you have the chance to experience the WV Glamping Domes, don’t hesitate to make you reservation way ahead of time, so you won’t miss this opportunity.

We arrived to a cozy romantic setting Friday evening. The room was setup so cute and perfect for the two of us. Our trip originally was a birthday gift turned into a random trip that was then changed to a late honeymoon overnight stay. Since we don’t get much one on one with each other (2 year old at home), this was exactly what we needed. The hot tub was very clean and really helped unwind and destress from the day to day activities. One of my favorite amenities was the heated bed since the weather has cooled down some. Highly recommend anyone looking for a quiet oasis to do this. We love finding the beauty in simplicity and if you are wanting to slow down and just spend time together this is perfect!! We can’t wait to come back for a couple days and try out the trails.

I grew up in WV and no longer have a home there…. Coming here felt like coming back “home”! The host is very friendly and attentive and the views are spectacular! Perfect for a couples getaway! Here you can unplug and relax and just take in nature!

My husband and I had the absolute best time staying at WV Glamping Domes for our anniversary. It was our first time in the area and it was beautiful. We stayed in the Firelight dome and it was just the place we needed to unwind, and reconnect. Everything was absolutely perfect. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay was magical. The homemade hard apple cider Timothy shared with his guests as a thank you for staying was absolutely delicious!! We sipped it by the fire while listening to the WVU-Pitt game! We are looking forward to our next getaway and cant wait to return!

There is no better place to step away from the busyness of life to rest and relax. The smallest detail have been added to make this place exceptional. The aromatic cedar dome is perfectly placed along the creek that provides the best real life sounds of the creek trickling and bubbling over rocks while you sit around the fire or soak in the hot tub. The kayaking and paddle boarding adds a perfect touch to enjoy the great outdoors. The domes are nestled in Alderson, WV and that part of the state is absolutely beautiful. The dark skies make a perfect evening backdrop that takes stargazing to a whole nother lever if you are coming from the city. You can not go wrong with a stay at WV Glamping Domes. A one night stay is great but I recommend staying at least two night or more.

We stayed at the Foxyridge dome and loved it! Even on a very hot day, the dome stayed cool. The rainfall shower head was really nice. Very comfortable king bed and pillows. They didnt skimp on toilet paper either...it was premium! Haha. Hot tub and firepit were very enjoyable with the beautiful views outside. Free use of kayaks/paddleboards was also a nice touch.

My husband and I stayed at the Firelight Dome and we loved every second of our stay. Our first impression was that our dome was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was perfect for a romantic getaway. Tim and Angela made sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. They are very hospitable and made us feel welcome! We rented e-bikes and they were waiting for us at our dome when we arrived! We had a blast on the bikes! We had the best time and it was so good for us to be able to get away and reconnect. We highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Wow! Just wow! We stayed at Foxyridge. You really won’t get the full gist of how awesome this place is until you book and go! Welcoming atmosphere, detailed directions, beautiful scenery and more than just an escape from every day reality. Comfy bed, useful equipment and appliances, an incredible shower and the hot tub! Oh, boy! Can’t wait to share with friends and family and visit again!

My husband & I booked this get away for our 5th Anniversary! The domes were unlike anything we have seen or anywhere we have stayed! The attention to details is top notch! It was modern simplistic at its finest! The cool nights matched with the amazing comfort of the bed, heated mattress pad & fluffiest pillows ever, gave us the best rest we have ever had! The soaking tubs provided relaxation. The heated toilet seat was out of this world amazing! The home made cider that Tim delivered should definitely be bottled & sold! The farm fresh eggs were a great start to the day & the best weve ever had! The craziness of the world the last few years has made us realize & appreciate small businesses that may not be deemed a necessity to big brother but is a necessity to our physical, mental & emotional health. Supporting these small businesses helps owners to hold onto their dreams. This was exactly what we needed & highly recommend this to all! We cant wait to visit again! My husband and I had a great weekend escape from all the hustle and bustle of every day life!! Tim and his wife were very accommodating to every need we had!! The firelight was definitely top notch from the heated king bed, the twin soaking tubs to the heated toilet seat!!! They have thought of everything. Tim serves his homemade cider every night complementary. If you do want to splurge I highly recommend having Tim deliver breakfast (his French toast is delicious) and rent the vanderhall! We celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary here and it was definitely a great time! Thanks for making our stay a great memory! We will definitely return!! The Fazenbaker’s

The aromatic cedar dome is absolutely adorable! The wood floor and counter spaces are beautiful. The decor feels so cozy and the bed is very comfortable. Laying in bed and listening to the birds in the early morning was so peaceful. The large picnic table and fire pit outside was an added bonus! The creek is right there and serene to watch, plus there were kayaks available to use if you wanted.

Absolutely Amazing!! First I want to say the owners are seriously the best! Any questions they answer immediately and are so welcoming! The owner makes his own hard cider and he delivered each of us a complementary glass of it, we had peach it was delicious ?. We also ordered french toast and bacon for the 1st morning we were there. The owners made it and delivered it. It was also soo delicious !! The dome we stayed in was perfect, had all the amenities you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation, just bring food and your are good to go! There is a river right next to the dome and it is beautiful not only to see but to hear. There are complementary canoes for you to use as well. There is a hot tub to enjoy and a fire pit to roast marshmallows or just enjoy a fire. This place is just beautiful and relaxing!

We recently had an amazing weekend staying in “Firelight”. We used it as our home base to bike the Greenbrier River Trail and eat/drink in Lewisburg. The Glamping dome was amazing; clean and spacious. We made a fire and talked to the owner that brought his cider around for us to try one evening; which was amazing. We would definitely recommend the Glamping domes and we will be back to visit again!

If your interested in glamping this is the place to stay they provide everything you need games , kayaking, fishing, hiking, corn hole, grill, fite pit, & the hard cider that Timothy makes himself my husband & I had an amazing experience well definitely be staying again

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The attention to all of the small details were impeccable. My personal favorite a place to prop my leg to shave ?. Honestly so many cool things packed into one place with comfort and relaxation priority. Also, if you get the chance rent the Roadster. I promise it will not disappoint. Breakfast delivered 10/10 delicious and beautifully displayed. The only downfall is having to leave ?. We will be back for sure!! nnThe waterfall is so relaxing. We missed seeing the otters but heard they are around. The lights across the creek in the evening add even more peaceful ambience. nnTimothy and family go above and beyond to make your stay nothing short of storybook worthy.

This was perfect. Very clean and updated. Romantic. Plenty of peace and quiet. Privacy wasn’t an issue at all. The linens and bed were extremely comfortable and clean. Perfect option to get away and lose track of time.

6 girlfriends from Ohio, WV, VA and SC get together twice a year for a girls trip. We have done this for the last 25+ years, and we all agree that this was the best trip ever! We stayed at The Manor, and the accomodations were outstanding! Well equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms, comfortable seating and beds, heating and air conditioning,and all the little touches that also made it stand out, like snacks, Keurigs, toiletries, and plenty of towels. Lots of outdoor seating made sitting by the stream and around the firepit a delight.nWe spent a lot of time in the beautiful outdoors in the hot tub, on long walks, picking strawberries at Sunset Farms, sitting around the fire pit, playing games, and exploring the area. Fun and relaxing were the words heard over and over. The few minor issues we had were handled promptly by Timothy. (like teahing us to light the fireplace stove)nWe brought enough food (too much) for three meals a day and enjoyed every one. We cant wait to come back!

What a great place to stay if you want a nice relaxing getaway. The dome was clean and had nice views. Stargazing was amazing. We stayed in the Meadowlark dome. If you want to get out and explore, Lewisburg was a nice little town to go to and if you’re up for the drive head to the New River Gorge National Park.

I like your vibe is what Timothy said to me and my girlfriend on the final night of our multi-night stay at the Aromatic Cedar dome. Looking back on our little adventure together, the vibes of this place are all I could think about in return. Ive always been a believer in the little things and this place is full of all of the little thing vibes. From the location next to the flowing water of the river, the mini torches at the entrance of the dome and hanging lights around the deck, the perfectly located hot tub and fire pit, the heated bathroom and bed, the view from inside the dome while sipping morning coffee and looking across the water, being able to stare up at the stars while laying in bed, the nearby nature trail, the neighboring town of Alderson (shout out to the Big Wheel restaurant), the farm-fresh eggs that cant be matched, the famous cider that the Timothy & Angela could probably sell standalone, and even the book where each guest could share their own stories, every little thing was perfect. Id like to thank the owners for making this place what it is and for their own vibes they bring to this place each and every day. My girlfriend and I wrote a 3-part story in their guest book right before we left, and I cant wait to come back and write part 4. Cheers!

The perfect getaway. All the luxuries with serene natural beauty. The owners have truly thought of everything for a perfect stay. Beautiful waterfront location, you can hear the water cascading from inside the dome. Gorgeous, yet private outdoor shower, you can see the creek from the shower. Hot tub is toasty, fire pit, lots of outdoor seating, outdoor games like corn hole and connect 4, kayaks, paddle boards, sleds, literally everything. The indoor accommodations are just as great with cozy bedding, adorable decorations, and all the amenities to stay comfortably. Theres a reason these are always booked! All thr necessary kitchen items and the best hospitality. You cant get this experience and kindness from just anywhere. So appreciative to the owners foe showcasing the beauty and spirit of west virginia!

Our dome., the Firelight, was in a great creek side setting, and included everything we needed for our stay. Our host was available for any questions. n The bed and pillows were very comfortable! The footed tubs with endless hot water and overhead heaters were comfortable and relaxing . . . luxury at its best. The kitchen area had everything we needed for a simple meal, and the outside grille was very convenient. We enjoyed having a glass of wine sitting by the firepit in the evenings. Although it was February, we were toasty warm in our dome. The towns of Alderson and Lewisburg are nearby with interesting shops and restaurants. (Alderson: Riverview Cafe has the best pancakes, and in Lewisburg lunch at the Stardust Cafe - a bistro atmosphere with the greatest sandwiches). We truly enjoyed out time at WVGlamping Domes and will visit again . . . it was quiet, relaxing and very comfortable. A great retreat!

Oh my goodness! There arent enough kind words to describe our stay in the Firelight Dome for our honeymoon. The bed was so comfortable I never wanted to leave. All of the amenities are first rate, especially the clawfoot tubs and the Bluetooth sound system. The price is extremely reasonable for the quality of the stay. We loved our time away in Greenbrier County so much that we have already booked a trip to the Glamping Domes for Spring 2023.
