We stayed here the first night of our girl’s trip to the Outer Banks and I wish we could have stayed here the whole time!! It was soooo beautiful, clean, peaceful and quiet, and set up with all the amenities you could need - they have literally thought of everything ❤️! I cannot wait to book another glamping dome and take the family this time! Thank you so much for making such an amazing getaway 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼!!

If you’ve ever dreamed of falling asleep under the stars without sacrificing your mattress or WiFi, this glamping dome is your fantasy come true! Tucked away in the woods with the gentle sound of a nearby stream serenading us, this place was pure magic. We kicked off each morning sipping coffee on the deck, and then spent our afternoons paddling around in the kayaks provided—because yes, there's a stream and kayaks just waiting for you! After adventures, we soaked in our private hot tub, watching the trees sway and wondering why we ever stayed in hotels. As the sun set, we got the firepit going (firewood and marshmallow sticks already there like camping fairies had prepped it for us), roasted marshmallows, and laughed like kids on summer break. But the best part? The owner—who might just be the friendliest human in existence—stopped by with a bottle of his homemade hard cider that tasted like autumn in a glass. Crisp, flavorful, and honestly? Better than anything we’ve bought in stores. Between the cozy dome vibes, the peaceful stream, spontaneous kayaking fun, and cider-fueled stargazing by the fire, this place has officially ruined all other camping for us. Just book it. Your soul will thank you.

5 stars all around as a glamping experience for our 3rd wedding anniversary!! This was our first time glamping so we treated ourselves to a 2 night stay in the newer DaVinici Dome and absolutely LOVED IT! We were here during a heatwave and remained adequately cool. Location: The glamping domes are situated on a large property along a creek in the Alderson area. It is a 20-30 minute drive to the Lewisburg area where you can find many restaurants, local shops, Walmart, Kroger, and other activities. They all seemed to be spaced out nicely, with some privacy features between them, but if you want ultimate privacy I suggest booking the DaVinci. This dome is a short golf cart ride from the parking area. As of our visit (6/24/25 - 6/26/25) the trail is incredibly bumpy and again, you're in a golf cart, not a side by side or something with shocks, so take that in consideration when booking. I also recommend bringing some bungee cords/straps to secure your luggage on the golf cart so it doesn't end up on the trail. If the sky is clear you will have an awesome view of the stars! Dome: The DaVinici dome is peaceful, gorgeous, and a clear labor of love and ingenuity. The dome itself is cozy and is able to remain cool with the help of the air conditioning unit once the sun goes down. The bed was comfy and each side had a small bedside stand built in to the wall. While here we utilized the wifi, desk, mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker without any incident. There was also a toaster and hot plate that we did not use. The primary reason we booked this dome over others was the unique hand hewn log hot tub and it exceeded expectations! It was so hot outside that we did not have to heat it by fire the first night but the 2nd night cooled off enough for us to test out the wood fire heat. Overall, the hot tub was gorgeous, clean, and a great way to relax. It is important to consider that you must be able to climb up a couple of natural steps and over the side of the log to enter the log. The solo stove provides a wonderful nighttime activity. Making s'mores after a long soak in the hot tub was the perfect nightcap. If you want to have a fire more than one night bring cash with you to buy firewood. Another exciting occurrence -there were cows grazing in the meadow beside the dome each morning. Dome Bathroom Facilities: The shower and bathroom tent are a few steps from the dome. The walkway between is not covered so I would suggest bringing an umbrella/poncho/rain jacket in case it is raining. We hadn't considered that but thankfully it wasn't an issue. The shower water heated well. The water pressure when you have the water turned further to the hot side is low, but if you make the water a little cooler the pressure increases. The hosts have included shampoo, conditioner, and body soap for your use which helps you pack less. The bathroom tent is impressively engineered. There are several measures they've taken to attract bugs elsewhere in the tent so they don't bother you while on the toilet. The biggest plus in the bathroom is the box fan that turns on via motion sensor. The sink is on a gorgeous live edge counter that I was shocked to find in a bathroom tent. Service: The owners were incredibly responsive to our questions both prior to and during our stay. They also send important information multiple times through both email and text message. I was especially thankful for the check-out checklist that we received via text message. PSA: If you expect an experience without exposure to insects, wildlife, or unpredictable weather elements - this is NOT the location for you.

The place was clean and well-equipped. Plenty of things to do at the property if you are an outdoorsy person. I visited after the Renaissance fair which is a 13-minute easy and quick drive. 30mins from Lewisburg.

It was an awesome stay here! We came with our friends. We lived in the Foxyridge dome and our friends live in Da Vince dome. Two domes are ~ 8-10 minutes away by golf cart. This is our first glamping experience here. We arrived late and the host still kindly brought us home-made ciders and fresh eggs (we fried them for breakfast in the next morning, very tasty!!!). It was 3-4 mins driving by golf cart from the parking lot to our dome, kinda scary but very exciting! We were amazed by the flashing fireflies all the way driving up to and around the dome! The hot tub was kept warm with lights hanging around. Everything was cute and sweet. We enjoyed massage in the tub, the quietness up the hill, peaceful bug sound around, comfy beds, and amazing views around. Definitely a great get away and worth the driving here!

One of a kind stay, would definitely recommend. The only negative I would say is that it’s a sharp turn getting in, but only for larger vehicles! Staff was amazing, easy to find, super cozy, layout is perfect, complimentary cider, kayaks, eggs etc This place is definitely on our list to come back to!

This was my first time glamping—and I really enjoyed it. The domes were clean, neat, organized, and were equipped to ensure all my needs were met. The dome I stayed in had claw foot tubs with wonderfully smelly bubble bath available. There was a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The owner was attentive and did everything to accommodate our group. Highly recommend!

Wow! What an EPIC stay! I hosted a retreat in New River Gorge NP for HikerBabes and we rented out this whole property & all the domes for the time we were there! The cider and eggs were a bonus! The hot tubs were a MUST after logging 19.6 miles in 2 days! The beds were so warm & comfortable, and the WiFi was also a plus! I personally stayed in the DaVinci dome, and it was perfect for me. No complaints from the other babes about their stays in the other domes! Of course you have all the amenities you could need: heat & a/c, wifi, mini fridge, microwave, keurig, & bathrooms. 10/10 would stay here again! The owner was always quick to respond with all of my questions (when trip planning for groups, there’s always a lot)! It’s nice staying somewhere, where the host is responsive and checks in but doesn’t overwhelm you with everything else you’ve got going on! Thanks for a unique and memorable stay, from all of us at HikerBabes!!

My partner and I stayed in the DaVinci Dome. This place was magical! The location of our dome was very private, which we loved. We took the included golf cart from the parking area to the dome, which included a quick ride alongside a beautiful creek. Now the dome itself has plenty of room inside for 2 people, but it's not big by any means. There's a mini-fridge and microwave located in the dome, but your running water is located in the bathroom area outside. The firepit and hot tub were relaxing. The hot tub truly is one of a kind. The sparkling cider offered by the owner was so good! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature. The local town is just up the road and offers some tasty places to eat as well as dollar stores for anything you might need.

This place is a true gem for lovers, families, and anybody. Me and my wife spent our 18 th anniversary last year in Firelight Dome, and it was truly a phenomenal experience. This year, we came with 2 more families and booked 3 domes on the creekside. We had the blast of our time. Tim is above and beyond a host when responding to any needs and questions you have. We loved his local cider and fresh eggs from the farm. The kids had a lot of fun with the hot tub, the Creek water, and Kayaking. I am already thinking about the next trip with my family. I highly recommend trying this place and is more than 5 stars. You won't regret it. Thank you, Tim, for hosting and, above all, being a new friend!!

My husband & I stayed 4/4-4/6 for my 29+1 birthday celebration! 😉 We stayed in the Meadowlark dome & were absolutely amazed at how beautiful it & the view was! The dome included an in-dome jacuzzi that was to die for. Timothy has the best hospitality you could ask for & his home made cider made us wanting more! We had a bonus of a baby rabbit hideout being right out our front door ❤️ Checking in and out was an absolute breeze & communication was completely open, if needed. Absolutely 5/5 stars for our stay! We will for sure be back with our children!

We had the best time staying for 2 nights in the Firelight Dome! The hosts are amazingly responsive and so helpful. The homemade cider is some of the best we’d ever had— we only wished we could’ve taken some home with us! The property is beautiful and so peacefully quiet. We spent most of our days exploring the nearby New River Gorge National Park. In the evening we were able to come back to our dome to make dinner and enjoy a campfire just steps from the water. It was so nice not having to schlep along all our kitchen stuff like on a normal camping trip. The bed was so comfortable, and we loved the twin bathtubs and the heated toilet. Our dog LOVED the Otterwalk trail along the water towards the Da Vinci! We saw and heard so many birds; we especially enjoyed the Merganser flying by and floating along. All in all, this is an incredible place to take a break from working life. Couldn’t recommend more!

This place is absolutely amazing. We stayed for a couple of days in The Firelight Dome and had an wonderful trip. I definitely recommend and would give a higher rating if possible. The contactless check in/out makes things simple however if you need anything at all Timothy will go above and beyond to assist you and if I may say his special recipe cider is the best I have ever tasted 😋 This place is serenity at its finest, quiet, beautiful and the wildlife is an extra treat for me, we enjoyed the squirrels, rabbits, birds, turtles, Canada geese and common merganser. Absolutely will be a repeat customer.

We stayed in the aromatic cedar with our two kids for their spring break. It was a great way to unplug and spend some quality time together. I’m not much of a camper, but the kids have been wanting to go camping and this is the way to do it! It is truly a serene environment, with all the amenities and amazing service. The owners are so responsive and accommodating. The evenings were chilly, but we stayed warm in our cozy dome and enjoyed our time by the fire and hot tub. We opted for the farm to table breakfast one morning and it was delicious. The kids’ first camping trip definitely left an impact. If my review isn’t enough to persuade you to stay here, I’ll leave you with what my 10 year old daughter wrote in the guestbook!

Update** Owners reached out via email after I published my review. Offered a full refund, and apologized for the experience. Although we still don't see eye to eye on many things, I have updated my overall rating from 2/5 to 4/5, and updated my service rating from 1/5 to 2/5. We stayed in Aromatic Cedar. We enjoyed the hot tub/fire pit area, the privacy, the location, and the glamping theme in general. Appreciated the rustic touches, and the intricate details in the workmanship of the structure. I think the downfall was the high price vs. the expectations that were set, but not met. We were told there would be a cider tasting, and asked if we wanted a half dozen eggs for the morning. Neither of those things occurred, and there was no further communication regarding them. I see from other reviews of the same time period that guests received these things, but we did not. We waited for a text to coordinate the tasting, and had brought bacon to make with our coffee & eggs in the morning, but neither came. Ended up having to pay $55 for breakfast at a local restaurant instead. The dome was extremely cold after dark, and the heater would not go past 69 degrees. Even with the space heaters on, it was frigid, and never got close to that temperature. During winter, there should be fair warning that the dome is not airtight, has wind cracks in the walls and floors, and is comparable to basic tent camping. We had to open the door each time to use the outdoor restroom, which also allowed heat to escape. We understood that the bathhouse would be heated, but the ceiling heater in there did nothing against the open cold. We were miserable using the toilet, and unable to shower at all. Under those conditions, you may want to suggest something more than warm jammies and slippers, as we had those and still struggled. That being said, the price in that weather should reflect accordingly. We were texted an extensive list of cleaning for us to accomplish before leaving, nevermind already being charged twice for cleaning, and finding dust/cobwebs upon arrival. I told the owners all this via email, a few days after staying. Weeks later, I still have not received a response.

This was an amazing over the top experience. We stayed at the manor for one night on Valentine’s Day. It was truly amazing. The rooms were so nicely put together, clean, beautiful view, and the attention to detail and thought was impeccable. We arrived and it was cute and cozy and very relaxing. Immediately my husband hooked up to the outdoor blue tooth and got a fire going in the fire pit. (It was still a bit chilly outside) we entered the dome and it was amazing!! It has a little kitchen and mini fridge. We did cook a full meal. We had steaks (hubby grilled up outside on the propane grill) and I made fresh green beans and mashed potatoes inside!! We had smores (the sticks were on site and provided) the showers and bathroom are nice and over the top on what you would expect. The beds were considerably comfortable and the heated blankets and electric fireplace added a warm touch!! Let’s not forget the steller view. Nothing beats laying in bed at night in a warm bed looking at the stars and moon and river!! You do have neighbors, but you don’t even realize you do except when you arrive. You don’t hear or see them from inside or the back side of your dome. Total privacy. We loved the hot tub!! It was all set up, easy to turn the jets on and at a perfect temperature!! We were in it for hours!! In the morning we ordered an amazing breakfast and enjoyed the view at the dining table eating fresh eggs and French toast cooked to perfection!! 100 outta 100. I booked this as a surprise for my wife. She loves camping but I don't. But I love this kind of "camping". The DaVinci dome was as cute and luxurious as could be. It is in a secluded field that you get to in a golf cart. Even though there was a bit of a cold snap when we were there we were warm and toasty thanks to the wood stove and heated bed. And what a host Timothy is. He gave us fresh eggs from his chickens and some cider that he makes. But even more he kept in touch with us and built a fire for us while we were out so the dome was warm when we got there and even built a fire and tended it in the hot tub (that he made himself by hollowing out a huge tree trunk) for us. That is service you don't see anymore. All in all a great 4 days.

Complete slice of heaven. My fiancé and I fell in love with our stay here, our special occasion was his 30th birthday surprise get away. When thinking of what he wanted most, I found that my time, no chores, and a hot tub are the necessary must haves for his pleasure. All I’m saying is here is where you want to be! My fiancé looked at me with such awe and said this is where I should have proposed to you, the starting night sky, the privacy, the views, and the love surrounding this place by nature herself - has done amazing things for US this weekend! We stayed in the luxury meadowlark dome and my favorite part of this location was the life surrounding us, the butterfly trail, the chipmunks that come out and play, the cows grazing, the horses beauty, the chickens providing. You don’t have to be a county man or woman to enjoy this, these truly are all of life’s luxury’s. Slow mornings here- coffee, tea, you name it - they did it! Thank you truly Timothy and Angela for sharing your lifeline of hard work and sacrifice…you have made something truly beautiful out of everything here, we cannot imagine the time and dedication it takes for something like this and we appreciate you for that also.

We stayed one night for our anniversary in the DaVinci Octadome and it was amazing. First off communication was excellent from the beginning so we knew everything we needed to do from the beginning. Self check in was easy with no need to come in contact with anyone. We loved this dome because of the privacy it allowed us to have. It was located by itself at the end of a dirt road that you get to with a golf cart. The attention to detail was amazing. Everything from the craftsmanship of the dome to the ceder log hot tub you could tell a lot of thought and effort was put in. The dome was stocked with all the essentials like dishes, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker and even coffee pods and snacks like popcorn and oatmeal. The Bluetooth sound system was a nice touch to listen to whatever you want while sitting by the fire with the wood they provide. There is even a grill if you would like to cook on site. The owners even offer to bring you homemade hard apple cider in the evening and fresh eggs for breakfast complimentary. Wifi was excellent and we had no service issues even though you feel like you are remote from civilization. Definitely recommend and we will definitely be back in the near future.

Super fun experience. Rooms have everything you need! A small creek was behind the domes. The owners included kayaks and a paddleboard to use. Nice touch! The only thing I can say in the negative and it's not really negative just now of an observation.... the domes do have ac but in the summer they can still get very warm in them. If you do not like that maybe try for a cooler month. We went in july, but we had a great time and are going to go back during the fall

This was my second stay at WV Glamping Domes and once again everything was perfect! The domes have all of the necessities that you may need during your stay including bedding, towels, shampoo/ conditioner and body wash. We stayed one night at “The Manor”, for something cool and different to do as a halfway point from Buffalo, NY down to our Myrtle beach vacation. It’s was so much more than I was expecting, that I wish we’d have been able to stay longer! Once the sun begins to go down, the many air conditioners and fans make the domes truly comfortable to sleep in. They have a fireplace and heaters if you’re staying in the colder months. The beds were super comfy too! My family and I enjoyed the hot tub that was right near the peaceful stream, under string lights. It was beautiful. They had lawn games, paddle boards, kayaks, e-bikes to rent etc. I only wish we’d had more time to be able to enjoy all of the perks. Since we didn’t have a whole lot of time to be able to enjoy it, it was really helpful that the domes are pretty well stocked. Everyone who’s been camping knows you have to basically pack an entire house up to bring with you, but these domes had everything we needed, including cooking utensils, bedding, even shampoo and body wash for the bathrooms! It was nice that I didn’t have to pack for an entire second trip for our stay. The owners were kind and helpful, even offering complementary cider, or to bring us breakfast! I would recommend these domes to anyone, whether you’re a camper or not! I’d definitely like to return one day for a longer stay!

We stayed at The Manor and had family meet up from across a few states. The location was perfect, easy access but quiet in the woods. The domes are so unique and had just enough provided to feel cozy but still feel like we were camping. The service and communication was above and beyond and we appreciate the hospitality! Thank you for letting us and our family dog come enjoy, relax and disconnect for a weekend getaway. All the yard games were perfect for additional activities and the paddle boards and kayaks are a cherry on top for things to do.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay! We celebrated my bachelorette in the “Manor.” The domes were AMAZING! The owners were so friendly and went above and beyond for anything we needed. 10/10 recommend and I already can’t wait to go back again! And if you get a chance to try their homemade hard apple cider, you definitely need to!!

The featured wood in this dome is Black Walnut, milled from a fallen tree right here on the farm and salvaged pine from our local mountains.  We've upped the ante in this dome.  It's massive inside!  It features a breezeway situated under the "friendship tree" (a cluster of Beech trees that have branches permanently intertwined as if in an embrace).
