BEST WEEKEND EVER!! We had an amazing time sitting in the hot tub stargazing, cooking on the open fire, and laying in the heated bed watching the stars.

We decided we needed an outdoor getaway for a birthday celebration Nov. 10. It has been several decades since we tried winter camping, so the idea of glamping was enticing. We picked the DaVinci dome for the hand-hewed curly maple hot tub. Our stay could not have been more magical! After hanging out by the fire for several hours while stoking the fire to heat the hot tub, we jumped in and soaked up the warmth with our breaths visible in the 34deg. Totally relaxed, we retreated to the dome and loved the toasty warmth from the woodstove. The heated mattress was a perfect touch for leaving the fire die out during the night. We were snug and cozy. The farm fresh eggs for breakfast were perfect. Timothy and Angela have created a little bit of heaven here in Alderson, If you make the trip, do drive the 2 miles to town to visit Stuart's BBQ & Seafood - the peel & eat shrimp are delicious!

We loved our WV Glamping Domes weekend! The dome was amazing, the view was incredible and the hosts were wonderful. The view from the hot tub both morning and evening will take your breath away.

WOW! This is a must! It was a Birthday Surprise Get Away for my wife and it topped the list! We were both in awe of the whole experience. Every little detail and personal touch was well thought of.

We just left the DaVinci Octodome, it was perfect. The grounds-beautiful, hand carved hot tub-amazing and homemade cider and fresh eggs were a nice added touch. The owners have thought of everything.

We had an excellent time staying in the aromatic cedar dome! Quiet, peaceful, clean and well kept. Will definitely be staying again, highly recommend!

My sister and I had a wonderful girls trip. The dome was so unique. We stayed in Aromatic cedar. It smelled so good when we walked in. There are so many unique little touches and made us feel very luxurious. And the bonus of receiving Tim’s homemade cider was awesome. It is his gift to his guests to thank them for staying, and it was nice to have a little chat with him. We rented the golf cart and took several rides around the property. But the most amazing part was kayaking. We had to walk through some shallow rocky areas.. but Tim had let us know if we got past that, we could just go on for as far as we wanted. We had many laughs getting through those areas and it was so worth it. We ended up going for 3 hours and it was so peaceful and beautiful. Highly recommend anyone to visit here. It has something for everyone. You can make it an adventure or just relax by the water in the hot tub at the dome. We will definitely be returning with our husbands. My wife and I stayed recently at the DaVinci octodome for our 4 year wedding anniversary and to say things were perfect would be an understatement. We were greeted into our relaxing weekend from the get go with a warm welcoming from Tim with incredible hard apple cider that he personally makes. The trail that we used to access the dome drove between a cow pasture and muddy creek, we happen to catch the first dropping of leaves and it was absolutely beautiful. Not to mention we also were able to fish directly next to our dome and even had success! We cannot wait to come back with our kids to try out more and fun filled experiences with them. 100% will be returning to stay in the future!

It was a great way to spend our 26th wedding anniversary. It had everything we needed. The heated bed was a plus on the chilly nights. We enjoyed walking the creek bed, we found some dragon stone and other interesting artifacts. We spent the evening sitting by the fire and enjoying the company of their cat Shadow. We will definitely be back.

This was a last minute anniversary escape just an hour from our backyard. This will forever be one of our best anniversaries. The owners take hospitality to another level. This was our first experience glamping, and it certainly will lot be our last. The property is gorgeous snd the Manor House had everything you could ask. It was super clean, beautifully decorated, and offered luxury comfort. Our experience from the time of booking to check-out was effortless! Wow! So happy this is here in southern WV!

A wonderful must-do getaway in the scenic Hills of West Virginia. The perfect camping accommodations with all the necessities. We enjoyed the serene surroundings, private hot tub, late night fire, and a bonus of the owner’s homemade hard apple cider. If you want privacy, this is the place to go! We highly recommend!

Had an amazing experience. Perfect blend of luxury and outdoorsy. Plenty of things to do on-site for all my kids age ranges, 9-18. Will come again!

Our best family vacation yet! We’re already ready to go back! We had a blast kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, and cruising around on e-bikes and golf carts. The domes were so cozy and equipped!

Wild, wonderful, perfection! My husband and I spent an evening in the Foxyridge dome to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Upon arrival, we met Angela who helped with the golf cart and welcomed us. We took the cart up the path to our dome, where we found everything to be exactly what we had hoped. The accomodations are perfect for a couple like us…an outdoorsman and his wife (who likes to be spoiled a little lol)! We brought along steaks that we cooked in the provided grill, made s’mores while sitting with a picturesque view by the fire pit, and watched the sunset from the hot tub. That evening, Timothy brought around his homemade hard apple cider (which was absolutely amazing), and we had a chat with him about our children (who happened to be the same ages). We also enjoyed using the fresh eggs provided to make breakfast the next morning. This was a totally unique experience with the bonus of wonderful and accommodating hosts! I would recommend it for anyone looking for an escape in an absolutely gorgeous, private setting!

We had the most amazing anniversary stay at the Meadowlark Dome! Everything about this experience was perfectly curated—from the charm and comfort of the dome itself to the stunning natural surroundings. It had everything we needed for a peaceful, connected getaway. We especially loved the hammock and the cozy touches inside, but the real magic was getting to watch storms roll in through the dome windows—it was breathtaking. We saw deer, bunnies, and even a bear! On our final night, a double rainbow appeared and felt like the perfect ending to a truly special trip. Most importantly, this stay allowed us to fully disconnect from the demands of daily life and reconnect with each other in a meaningful way. We’re already planning our return!

Awesome set up. DaVinci is private and perfect. The log hot tub is a cool and unique experience. The amenities are fantastic. Timothy does an amazing job of hosting and making sure you are set 5 star

I’ve been wanting to experience this place for a while, and it absolutely did not disappoint. My husband is into roughing it. Me, not so much. This was a perfect compromise! Staring at the sky while laying in that amazing bed, breakfast, and the peace and quiet were our faves! We could sit outside and listen to the creek all day. It stormed the first night we were there, which made sleeping amazing. Husband got to do some fishing, and the soaking tubs were the icing on the cake! Kitchen has everything you need. We also made friends with the farm cat and the 2 ducks that hung around. Amazing experience! Thank you all so much. We will 100% be back!

We came to the domes for my daughter’s bachelorette party and had the most amazing time!! The domes were spacious and clean and of course the hot tub was killer by the creek!! Probably wouldn’t have chosen glamping as something I’d want to do but have changed my mind about it now! Owner was super nice and accommodating! Definitely recommend 100%!

We stayed in the DaVinci dome. It exceeded our expectations. Peaceful, private, and absolutely beautiful!!! Just what the mind needed for a weekend getaway.

This place is a true gem for lovers, families, and anybody. We spent our anniversary last year in Firelight Dome, and it was truly a phenomenal experience. This year, we came with 2 more families and booked 3 domes on the creekside. We had the blast of our time. Tim is above and beyond a host when responding to any needs and questions you have. We loved his local cider ( I believe he should brand it- I know he is thinking about it) and fresh eggs from the farm. The kids had a lot of fun with the hot tub, the Creek water, and Kayaking. I am already thinking about the next trip with my family. I highly recommend trying this place. You won't regret it. Thank you, Tim, for hosting and, above all, being a new friend.

It was such a great experience! I’ve never went glamping and I loved every bit of it! From the beauty of their land to the peacefulness, I am beyond grateful for having a comfortable place and a rejuvenated mindset. We were there not too long ago and since then I’ve been wanting to head back! 10/10

My husband & I stayed 4/4-4/6 for my 29+1 birthday celebration! 😉 We stayed in the Meadowlark dome & were absolutely amazed at how beautiful it & the view was! The dome included an in-dome jacuzzi that was to die for. Timothy has the best hospitality you could ask for & his home made cider made us wanting more! We had a bonus of a baby rabbit hideout being right out our front door ❤️ Checking in and out was an absolute breeze & communication was completely open, if needed. Absolutely 5/5 stars for our stay! We will for sure be back with our children!

Has a wonderful 2 night stay; time is shorter with our friends children and getting to spend spring break with my 19 year old daughter was fabulous here! Comfy bedding, s’mores by fire, fishing, paddle boarding, and coffee creekside was soooo perfect!

We just recently spent the four most relaxing nights at Foxyridge. The accommodations were beyond our expectations. It was extremely private and peaceful and the perfect way to spend and celebrate a year of being sober with my significant other. As a former war veteran, he cherishes his quiet time and ability to get away from the chaos of everyday life and this surprise stay was the perfect choice. We look forward to hopefully celebrating year two at the exact same spot.

We had a very relaxing 2 nights in meadowlark. The dome stayed nice & cozy despite the temperature & high winds outside. We enjoyed riding the golf cart on the various trails & looking at all the farm animals. We would like to come back during the warmer months to kayak. The floors in meadowlark glow in the dark, which was a nice surprise & we loved being able to look up at the stars at night. The owner Timothy was very nice & we loved the complimentary cider. We will be back 🙂

WV Glamping is the way to go! Camping has never really been my thing, but staying in the Firelight Dome made me a lover of all things glamping. We spent our 8 year anniversary here. It was perfect!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was SUCH a unique experience!!! We stayed in the Aromatic Cedar dome. We loved EVERYTHING from the heated bed, amazing pillows and cool outdoor bathroom/shower. The Roadster was awesome too!!!!

We came here to celebrate our anniversary, it's absolutely beautiful. The domes are clean and well maintained, the owners are phenomenal. Timothy's cider, I'll forever be wanting more! DELICIOUS!!!! When we arrived there were deer in the field beyond our cabin. We also got to see some wild turkeys. We definitely want to come back and bring some family! Seeing the stars at night in just pure peace is something we all need! We even had a dog visitor come and say hi! Lovely trip and amazing time! we will be back

The WV glamping domes are awesome! We went there the last day of our honeymoon. The domes were clean, and right near the water. It was the perfect place to stargaze! The hot tub was so nice you can sit outside and watch the wildlife and look for otters in the stream. We loved the hiking trails around especially the butterfly trail. We even saw a beautiful horse and farm animals, not to mention beautiful scenery. The warm heated beds were so nice, along with the heat for the room. It’s the perfect get away to relax and enjoy Gods creation in nature. We also loved the breakfast delivery, fresh eggs from the farm delivered on a platter. This is also close to the town of Lewisburg, where there are lots of good restaurants and the Greenbrier which we got to see so that was cool. The rooms were equipped with everything to cook, have coffee, nice bathrooms, just a wonderful environment. Plenty of parking, outdoor games, there is so much to do there. We would like to come back and kayak! Thank you for allowing us a great stay. Can’t wait to come back. 😊

We stayed in the Aromatic Cedar Dome from October 2nd to October 5th. We decided to stayed at the domes for our 9th wedding anniversary. It was nice to disconnect from the stress of the city and outside noise. We really enjoyed the hot tub . On the other hand our dome wasn’t as clean as you expected, there was spider webs and dust all around the inside, there was a big gap on top of the door that was letting multiple stink bugs and wasp inside to the point my husband had to start cashing them cause they were going after our 4 month old. Our wifi never worked at all, and I don’t think it’s my job to move the coffee pot around to find an outlet that will work , same with the outside outlets. The inside of our grill was dirty . One of the main reasons we decided to stayed here was to be able to look at the sky while laying down, but news flash the top of our dome was cover with leaves and the panels pretty dirty that you couldn’t look at all which was really disappointing. Since it was our wedding anniversary we were so pumped when we saw about the complementary Hard cider when we booked, just to find out there weren’t offering when we stayed. Lastly, we think that communication could be a lot better, we only heard from the owner the night before checkout . Thank you for the stayed , we made the most out of it, we will give it a little while for it to get some improvements and we might come back in the future.

We stayed in the meadowlark dome for our anniversary and it was the perfect getaway!! We enjoyed every peaceful minute! The unobstructed view was beautiful! We loved sitting in the chairs outback in the evenings looking at the stars! We enjoyed taking walks on the beautiful property. The amenities were wonderful and the communication from the property owners is amazing. We will be back!

We stayed here for our 27th wedding anniversary and we had a great time! The hosts thought of everything. The breakfast was delicious and brought right to our door. The views were great and it was so peaceful. We will definitely be back!

WV glamping is a tiny piece of heaven, it was so relaxing, good time, comfortable, and peaceful. We enjoyed our one night stay for our one year anniversary. We definitely will be back to stay longer next time. It was perfect for bonding time. The aromatic cedar dome was the perfect temperature for sleeping and waking with the sunshine just put you in such a positive mood. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub listening to music and then just the silence of the night with the creek running next to us. You are supplied with towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Also if you are a fan sleeper the dome is supplied with fans. The dome had everything to make our stay stress free and all our essentials to bring food and prepare a meal. We decided to explore and find somewhere to eat super easy and close we chose hill and hollers very good food friendly staff and had plenty left to bring back to dome. I was very impressed with how owners stayed in touch and were so thankful for us choosing them for our stay. We can’t wait to get back <3 Megan

Actual paradise. This was the first trip that my finance and I have taken by ourselves. I am NOT an outdoorsy person by no means. But when we arrived, I was so glad we booked the trip. First of all- the domes are absolutely adorable. They’re secluded from the main road, peaceful, clean, and beautiful scenery. The dome was equipped with ac units so we were cool. We decided to just grab some snacks and food to microwave once we got in so we didn’t have to venture out of the campsite. Unfortunately, it started to rain- but it was so calming and relaxing it wasn’t very unfortunate. We were able to venture out and walk up the river, the scenery is beautiful. The dome itself was very clean, the bed was so comfortable (I am now on the lookout for a new mattress), the soaking tubs had endless hot water, and the Bluetooth speakers made the experience even better. All in all, for a majority of our overnight stay we stayed in the dome. But, we both agreed that we wouldn’t have had it any other way. The only thing we would have changed is that we stayed longer.

Absolutely beautiful, it was so peaceful and relaxing. Definitely let everyone know about this place.

What a wonderful gem! A beautiful retreat from the hustle and grind of daily life! Not only is it everything you enjoy about camping without the inconveniences, the owners have put so much thoughtfulness in little piece of heaven in WV- from complementary kayaks to perfect firewood bundles. The sunsets by the fire are serene, and soaking in the hot tub admist a field of fireflies is truly magical! We intend to try to make this an annual trip. We came home rested and rejuvenated. Such a gift.
