⭐️ NEW DOME OPEN BOOK HERE ⭐️
Alderson, WV – the home of WV Glamping Domes is a darling little town with a magnificent walking bridge spanning the gorgeous Greenbrier River. It truly lives up to it’s longstanding designation “gem of the hills.” Alderson is about 25 miles from the southern end of the new RIver Gorge National Park in Hinton WV.
We spent our 8 year anniversary in the Firelight dome. It was the perfect cozy place for true connection and romance without the noise of every day life. Even though it was 23 degrees outside we were warm and cozy inside. We definitely look forward to coming back and staying in the summer.
Was a great family stay by the river. Even in the cold weather we were cozy with lots of room. I recommend it!
You know when the noise of the world gets too loud? This is a perfect solution! Allows one to rest the weary soul, unplug, recharge and just admire the God’s artistry! The heated bed was amazing, the log hot tub was breathtaking as we stared at the clear sky in a cool night! We actually saw a huge fireball streak across the sky! This was the perfect getaway with just the right amount of technology. Phones still worked and Bluetooth music was lightly playing. Seriously this did wonders for us! From booking to leaving the process was streamlined, easy and Timothy was kind. We will be back!!
Everything was wonderful. All amenities taken care off by hosts. Truly a magical place to relax and unwind. We definitely will go back again!
I booked this as a surprise for my wife. She loves camping but I don't. But I love this kind of "camping". The DaVinci dome was as cute and luxurious as could be. It is in a secluded field that you get to in a golf cart. Even though there was a bit of a cold snap when we were there we were warm and toasty thanks to the wood stove and heated bed. And what a host Timothy is. He gave us fresh eggs from his chickens and some cider that he makes. But even more he kept in touch with us and built a fire for us while we were out so the dome was warm when we got there and even built a fire and tended it in the hot tub (that he made himself by hollowing out a huge tree trunk) for us. That is service you don't see anymore. All in all a great 4 days.
We enjoyed our stay. The place had everything you need and the hot tub made of carved maple tree was a work of art. We stayed at the DaVinci dome. The attention to details, lighting, sound system and out door shower is exceptional. We will definitely be back again.
